About me

Hi there! My name is Julio and I was born and raised in California, USA.  From a young age I developed a passion for the arts, particularly painting, music, and photography.  During my formative years in high school and college, I enrolled in a myriad of extracurricular courses to give me a well-rounded experience, including photography courses abroad in Spain.  

There, I expanded my knowledge of advanced photographic practices, initially working with a Canon Rebel EOS T3i with a stock 18-55mm lens.  As I progressed with my new-found discipline, I upgraded to a Canon Rebel T5i which enabled my foray into additional lens options such as telephoto zoom, wide angle, and fixed focal length pancake lens.  

My favorite photography styles are astrophotography and wide angle nature shooting.  As I keep improving my photographic skills, my next goal is to obtain a full-frame DSLR to further my skill and proficiency.

Plain and simple, my goal is to become the best photographer I can be and allow others to do the same while witnessing the natural beauty of the lush blue and green home we all call our Mother Earth.
